When we talk about [preferred] gender pronouns, it makes me uncomfortable when folks are like “I prefer female pronouns” (typically meaning she/her/hers) or “I prefer male pronouns” (typically meaning he/him/his) because it suggests that pronouns are inherently gendered. 

Can we just all do each other a favor and take 2 extra seconds to list them out? “Oh hey! I prefer he/they/she” 

It would make my life easier, just saying - I use ‘he/him/his’ but that doesn’t make me male.
